Participant Mailings—OptumRx and Legal Notices
Two mailings were sent this week to HealthFlex participants:
- Catamaran Is Now OptumRx postcard—high-level informational postcard regarding the Catamaran/OptumRx merger.
- Legal notices and Annual Election dates—cover letter, Notice About Prescription Drug Coverage and Medicare (required by law) and a list of other regulatory notices available at www.gbophb.org.
Later this month, participants will receive an informational brochure about HealthFlex Annual Election. This year’s Annual Election will be November 4–19. We will send the final version of this brochure in a HealthFlex Express next week.
OneExchange Mailing—Special Populations
A letter will be sent early next week to small populations covered by OneExchange who historically may have had dental, vision and behavioral health benefits through HealthFlex (e.g., Medicare-eligible due to disability or Medicare Secondary Payer Small Employer Exception). As of 2016, all ancillary benefits through HealthFlex will be terminated for individuals not enrolled in a HealthFlex medical/pharmacy plan. Participants can purchase dental and/or vision coverage through OneExchange; behavioral health services are covered by Medicare/Medicare Supplement.
