Annual Election Communications—Participant Mailing

This year’s HealthFlex Annual Election is Wednesday, November 4 through Thursday, November 19 (ends at midnight, Eastern time). Annual Election brochures were mailed to participants on October 26. There are four versions of the brochure, for targeted communications based on each plan sponsor’s plan adoptions. The Center for Health sent an e-mail with samples of the appropriate targeted communications for your participant group on October 26.

(A small subset of participants who will be unable to make elections online due to a system limitation will receive a letter instead of brochure. These individuals must contact their plan sponsor or the General Board to make elections. Copies of these letters were also with the October 26 e-mail.)

Additionally, toolkit materials will be available this week on the General Board’s extranet (username: extranet; password: gbop!123). Please use these materials to remind participants about Annual Election dates and details. There is one version for HealthFlex Exchange plan sponsors and one version for traditional plan sponsors.

Plan Sponsor Webconferences—October Recordings Available

Video/audio recordings of the October HealthFlex plan sponsor webconferences are now available. Please note the new format of these recordings (introduced earlier this year). To replay the webconference on your computer or tablet:

2. Select a webconference:
   
   • Plan sponsors transitioning to HealthFlex Exchange—Select HealthFlex Exchange.
   • All plan sponsors—Select October 7 or October 8. (Both webconferences covered the same agenda.)
3. After you select the webconference, click “Download.” (The presentation may take a few moments to download.)
4. The presentation will open in Windows Media Player. You will be able to hear the discussion while viewing the slides.
