Benefitsolver Security Enhancements

Wespath updated the Benefitsolver system on May 20 to enhance security by masking participant Social Security numbers (SSN). Wespath previously communicated this change in the April 26 HealthFlex Express and May 1 On Board Express—and discussed it during the HealthFlex plan sponsor calls on May 2 and May 4.

Participants' entire SSNs can no longer be viewed by system users; the first five digits are now masked (e.g., XXX-XX-1234). This change is part of Wespath's continuing efforts to protect participants' Personally Identifiable Information and enhance the security of all our systems.
