2017 Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan Materials Available on the Extranet

The following 2017 Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan materials that were discussed at the two recent webinars are now available on the Extranet:

These materials were reviewed during the two December webinars and updated based on feedback.

As a reminder, ¶1506.6 of The Book of Discipline requires each annual conference to annually develop, adopt and implement a formal comprehensive funding plan for all benefit obligations. This plan must be approved by annual conference after receipt of a favorable written opinion from the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits.

Webconferences on Proposed Changes to CPP—Postponed

Due to unexpected events, the webconferences originally scheduled for January 19 and January 20 will be postponed and rescheduled as follows:

These webconferences will discuss the impact of proposed changes to the Comprehensive Protection Plan (CPP), as submitted to General Conference 2016. Both sessions will present the same information, so choose the time best for you.

Holiday Closing—Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The General Board will be closed on Monday, January 18, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Customer service assistance will be unavailable on this day.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and make transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, accessible by calling 1-800-851-2201, is also available for participants.

The Wespath Institutional Investor Portal and Benefits Access are available for plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.
