Center for Health’s Clergy Well-Being Survey

The Center for Health will conduct its biennial survey of United Methodist clergy in February, focused on overall clergy well-being. This will be the Center for Health’s fifth such survey.

A sample of 4,000 active U.S. clergy, regardless of health plan affiliation, will receive an invitation to participate in the 20-minute online survey to help better understand and monitor clergy well-being needs across the denomination. E-mail invitations will be sent in waves starting January 24, 2017. Clergy in your conference may receive the survey.

The resulting data will be used to learn more about clergy well-being as we continue to monitor trends, and develop programs and services to assist UMC clergy in leading more vital lives.

Survey findings will be published upon completion and will be available on wespath.org/center-for-health/information/ where you can also obtain findings from previous surveys.

Confidentiality
Participation is voluntary and the opinions and information shared will be kept confidential. The survey is solely for research purposes and will not replace any other health questionnaire or risk assessment from health plan or conference providers.

Questions should be directed to Anne Borish, Research and Information Manager, at aborish@wespath.org or 1-847-866-4566.

Thank you for your support of this effort.
