Conference Forum—Registration Deadline Tuesday

This year’s Conference Forum will be held March 16-17, 2017 at The Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. The registration deadline is Tuesday, February 28.

Legislative Update—Cures Act and QSEHRAs

The 21^st Century Cures Act approved by Congress in December 2016 contains a new exception for eligible small-employer health reimbursement arrangements from certain Affordable Care Act (ACA) rules regarding group health plans. The Cures Act permits an employer with fewer than 50 full-time employees that does not offer a group health plan to any of its employees to instead provide a “qualified small employer health reimbursement arrangement” (QSEHRA). Center for Health Resources Available—Stroke Awareness

The Center for Health has published a new flyer on Stroke Awareness. This is a free resource that churches can distribute via print or e-mail. Recognizing stroke symptoms and responding quickly can help save a life or minimize a stroke’s long-term effects.

Center for Health toolkit and newsletter resources such as this Stroke Awareness information are not sent directly to participants.
