Retirement Plan Design Survey Postcard
A postcard will be mailed or e-mailed today (based on the electronic delivery election on file) to active and retired clergy participants in Wespath-administered retirement plans. It notifies participants that they will receive an invitation to participate in the online retirement plan design survey, which is available from March 7-April 4.
Wespath is committed to ensuring our retirement plans balance the needs of our participants and plan sponsors. This survey will inform decisions about potential changes to participant benefits. Please encourage your participants to provide candid feedback.

2017 Calkins and Lee Award Winners
Wespath conferred two distinguished leadership awards on February 24 during its Board of Directors meeting.
The Charles L. Calkins Award recognizes an annual conference administrator who has partnered with Wespath to provide exceptional service in pension and benefits administration within the United Methodist Church (UMC). The 2017 award recipient is Jim Berner of the West Virginia Conference.
The Clay F. Lee Award recognizes former Wespath board of directors members who have given exemplary service in caring for the pension and benefits needs of those who serve the UMC through visionary leadership; advocacy of Church retirement and health benefit programs; and dedication to Wespath’s values. The 2017 award recipient is Jerry Pinkerton of the North Texas Conference.
