Participant Communications—Letter from Wespath

A letter from Wespath General Secretary Barbara Boigegrain will be sent this week to all participants who have retirement accounts with, or are receiving benefit payments from, Wespath. As we collectively await the form of the Church following the called General Conference in 2019, the letter is intended to reassure participants that:

• Their retirement accounts with Wespath are secure;
• Wespath will continue to care for those who serve The United Methodist Church—regardless of the form of the Church following the 2019 General Conference;
• Wespath is focused on sustaining plans, benefits and funds for future generations; and
• Wespath will adjust as necessary to continue serving the Church after the 2019 General Conference.

Wespath will e-mail the letter to participants who have electronic delivery as their preference. We will mail letters to other participants.
