Paychex Partnership Promotions to Local Churches

Many local churches, big and small, have told us that they are interested in affordable assistance with their payroll. At the recent Conference Forum, Robin Richert and Jeff Kohl of Paychex, Inc. shared payroll and other service offerings available under Wespath’s partnership with Paychex, which includes a 35% discount. In the coming weeks, Paychex will mail information to local churches in select states and make outbound calls to approximately 250 churches identified by Wespath as having 10 or more employees. If you know of a church that could benefit from these services, please share this information.

Participant Communications

In the coming weeks, Wespath will send eblasts about:

• Benefits Access—promoting contact information updates to participants who recently completed registration for the site.
• Retirement accounts—providing reasons to consider keeping retirement savings in Wespath-administered accounts to participants who intend to retire in June or July 2019
• Saving—promoting increased contributions to UMPIP or Horizon

The communications will be spread out in multiple batches in order to ensure that Wespath representatives are able to quickly respond to participants. If you have questions, please contact Sue Peterson at speterson@wespath.org or 1-847-866-4229.

Reminder: Wespath Portal Recertification Forms Due May 28

Recertification forms must be returned by May 28 for all users with access to the Wespath Portal to ensure that account access remains uninterrupted. Please contact the Pension Administration Team with any questions at 1-800-851-2201—select option 3, then press 2.

Wespath Holiday Closing—Memorial Day

Wespath will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. Customer Service assistance will be unavailable that day.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and complete transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The automated phone system, accessible by calling 1-800-851-2201, will also be available for participants.

The Wespath Institutional Investor Portal and Benefit Access Portal for Plan Sponsors will be available to plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.
