Update Forms Distributed to Participants

Wespath regularly updates participant forms and marketing materials as changes are made to our plans and policies. Wherever possible, participants should be encouraged to go online at benefitsaccess.org to enter or change information rather than completing forms. However, since plan sponsors sometimes keep printed copies on hand for participants, we recommend refreshing any supplies at least once a year to ensure that the forms provided to participants are up to date.

When participants use and return old forms to us, the forms may be missing necessary information and are returned as invalid. Please help streamline the process of submitting information to Wespath for participants by recycling all printed copies of the following forms that predate the update dates listed below:

• Beneficiary Designation form—new form available since June 2020 but we recommend that participants update this information at benefitsaccess.org
• Investment Election form—new form available since May 2020 but we recommend that participants update this information at benefitsaccess.org
• Enrollment form—new form available since August 2020

Systems Unavailable This Weekend

Wespath Portal, Benefits Access (participant and plan sponsor portals), Contribution Management, Institutional Investor Portal and the Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan (CBFP) will be unavailable from Friday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m., Central time through Sunday, August 16, early evening to allow for system maintenance and updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this outage may cause.

Wespath Updates to Participants

This week's participant e-blast communication was sent yesterday, August 12. In this issue, we updated participants about ways to use self-service options on Benefits Access for more routine requests which can help Wespath’s customer service department more quickly address more urgent participant calls; celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Positive Social Purpose Investment Program; asked for readers to give us feedback about eblast communications and shared links to the updated Monthly Investment Report and Monthly At-A-Glance video.
