Board Elects Andy Hendren as Wespath’s Next General Secretary and CEO

Wespath’s Board of Directors has elected Andrew (Andy) Hendren as Chief Executive Officer and General Secretary-elect. His service as CEO and General Secretary begins on January 3, 2022. Hendren currently is Wespath’s chief legal and governance officer. He will succeed Barbara Boigegrain, who will retire after serving in the role for more than 27 years.

Andy joined Wespath in 2004 and has built strong relationships across The United Methodist Church, including collaborating with CBOs, conference treasurers, chancellors, the Council of Bishops, general secretaries, various interest groups and the General Conference. His election to succeed Barbara Boigegrain will help provide continuity as Wespath serves into the future. Read the press release here.

What does this mean?

• You will no longer be required to register in advance for the webinar!
• The webinar will be available to view on our website (for 2Q, on July 23, 2021) – a notification email will be distributed.
• The webinar will be shortened to 45 minutes and can be viewed in full, or in smaller segments.
• Questions can still be posed in advance for the presenters – and webinar slides can be requested – by emailing investmentinfo@wespath.org.
