Systems Unavailable—August 14th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Central time

The Wespath Portal, Benefits Access plan sponsor portal, Contribution Management, Wespath Institutional Investor Portal and the Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan websites will be unavailable Saturday, August 14 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Central time, to allow for system maintenance and updates.

We apologize for any inconvenience this brief outage may cause.

Wespath Update to Participants

Five different versions of the August Wespath Update were sent out August 11 and 12:

• Clergy who are HealthFlex participants received this version.
• Clergy who do not have HealthFlex received this version.
• Lay who are HealthFlex participants received this version.
• Lay who do not have HealthFlex received this version.
• West Virginia Conference clergy received a special version welcoming them to HealthFlex.

This issue contains announcements about Andrew Hendren as Wespath's Chief Executive Officer / General Secretary Elect, quarterly newsletter changes and a November "Delivered to You" Clergy webinar; articles about annual election guidance and incentives for participants and spouses to complete the Health Check and Blueprint for Wellness (HealthFlex audience); registration information for the August 19 EY webinar "Creating a Disaster Plan for Your Finances" and the Sept. 22 UMPIP webinar covering account access; and the latest Market Update video.

Coming Soon: Enhanced Institutional Investor Portal Experience

For those utilizing the Wespath Portal for the institutional investor account needs, we are excited to share that several new features are coming soon. These changes go live on Monday, August 16.

Highlights of these updates include:

• New user-friendly look and feel
• Added flexibility for account transactions, including one-time and recurring transactions, ability to enter account transactions with just one decimal place, and ability to make multiple withdrawals or transfers on the same business day
• Improved fee transparency, with fees and expenses shown as a separate line item.

"Delivered to You" For Active Clergy Coming in November

Due to ongoing COVID-19 developments and in the spirit of Wespath's commitment to caring for those who serve, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 in-person revItup! and Clergy Benefits Academy events. Instead, in November we will once again host "Delivered to You," an online event open to all active UMC clergy members. This news was communicated in the latest Wespath Update sent out August 11 and 12. More information about dates, times, cost and registration will be available soon at https://www.wespath.org/events. We look forward to the day when we can meet safely in person; for now, we anticipate a lively, informative online event in November with "Delivered to You!"
