New Blog Post: Climate Change FAQs

A recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change ("IPCC") revealed new details about human contributions to climate change and urged people around the world to take immediate action to reduce carbon emissions. On our Investment Insights blog, Jake Barnett—Director of Sustainable Investment Stewardship—answered key questions about the report, including how climate change factors may impact the investments of Wespath participants. Wespath in the News: Responsible Investor Op-Ed

In order to limit the effects of climate change, we believe that investors, including Wespath, need to help develop a more sustainable global economy. Through our membership in the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance, Wespath co-leads an asset manager engagement working group focused on empowering asset managers to lead this effort. Wespath Early Closing—Friday, August 20

Wespath will close at 11:00 a.m., Central time, on Friday, July 20 for an employee event. Customer service assistance will not be available after that time.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and complete transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The automated phone system, accessible by calling 1-800-851-2201, will also be available for participants.

The Benefit Access Portal for Plan Sponsors and Wespath Institutional Investor Portal will be available to plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.

If an urgent situation arises on Friday after 11:00 a.m., please call 1-847-866-4683 and provide your contact information. A Wespath representative will contact you within 30 minutes.
