Contribution Remittance Bills

We are aware that contribution remittance paper bills have not been mailed for September due to an issue at our vendor's mail processing facility. We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and will email plan sponsors / local churches, for which we have an active email address, to inform them of the delay. In the interim, plan sponsors can call Wespath to request an email or fax copy of the bill if needed. They may also pay a bill by sending a check to the standard PO Box in Carol Stream (PO Box 5184 Carol Stream, IL 60197-5184). Wespath representatives are available business days from 8:00am to 6:00pm, central time, by calling 1-800-851-2201.

Wespath Update to Participants

The September Wespath Update was sent out to all participants from September 16 through 23. Florida Southern University participants will receive their issue in late September.

• West Virginia Conference clergy received this version.

All versions featured an article about WII investment opportunities for UMC-related boards and committees. Otherwise, participants received the Wespath Update version pertinent to them. HealthFlex participants received articles about a new way to connect with a mental health professional, three things to do to prepare for Annual Election, and a reminder about using Health Care FSA balances. Clergy saw articles about the 2021 Clergy Well-Being Survey results, maximizing CRSP contributions, and information about "Delivered to You" for Active Clergy, which will take the place of Clergy Benefits Academy and revitup! this year. Versions sent out to Wespath-retirement plan participants featured an FAQ on the IPCC Climate Update Report, registration information for the Sept. 22 UMPIP webinar covering account access, the latest Market Update video and a link to the recent Sustainable Investment Report.

"Delivered to You" For Active Clergy: November 8 & 9, 2021

Please encourage clergy to register for "Delivered to You," which will take place 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Central time, on November 8 and 9, 2021. This motivational and educational virtual event is for all active clergy and will feature the best of Clergy Benefits Academy and revitup! after a decision was made to cancel these in-person events due to rising COVID-19 Delta variant infection numbers this summer. Click here to learn more. The virtual link to attend will be sent to all registered participants within one week of the event from Wespath Events. The registration fee is just $59.00 and includes the event Care Package that will be shipped in advance. Clergy can earn CEUs at this event—you may want to consider offering scholarships!
