You’ll hear from Wespath's new General Secretary/CEO Andy Hendren and the afternoon's topics will include insights on responding to cyber threats; a "fireside chat" covering NFT's, crypto currency and other investment hot topics; a preview of new LifeStage Retirement Income features, and much more! Registration will open next week. A recording of this session will be available if you are unable to attend. Questions? Please contact Margaret Sanders at msanders@wespath.org.

Email to Retiring Participants

Wespath sent an email on Wednesday, February 2 to participants intending to retire from their conference this year to let them know an informational kit about the retirement process will be mailed in the upcoming weeks. Participants were reminded to register for Benefits Access if they hadn’t already done so and review their personal information (contact information, service record, beneficiaries, etc.) for accuracy. A link to Wespath’s upcoming retirement webinars was also provided.

First Aid for Mental Health Promotional Material

As part of our efforts to promote the First Aid for Mental Health sessions in March, we developed several resources for you to share. There are bulletin inserts, social media graphics and posts, a presentation slide, text for an e-mail and more. On a computer, you can find it all on the upper-right side of the First Aid for Mental Health event page. Below the bio for the First Aid for Mental Health facilitator, you will find a video commercial you also can share.

It is our goal to promote these no-cost training sessions to United Methodist Church clergy and their spouses, Church leaders, staff, and congregation members. We want to create a more empathetic community within The United Methodist Church for those struggling with mental health—and we need your help to spread the word far and wide. We hope you are excited to share information about First Aid for Mental Health throughout the denomination and we hope our resources make that outreach a little easier.
