Important Message Regarding Q1 2022 Statements

We’d like to make you aware of an unfortunate situation occurring with the distribution of Q1 2022 Statements and what we are doing to quickly rectify the situation.

On April 13 and April 15, approximately 16,300 and 8,500 participants respectively received an e-mail from Wespath indicating their Q1 2022 statements were available on Benefits Access. Yet, when they went online, either the Q1 2022 Statement was not posted or there was an error within the Statement. We have pulled down any incorrect Q1 2022 Statements and are in the process of informing these participants via e-mail that Statements are delayed and we are working to quickly rectify the situation.

There are also errors within the Q1 2022 Statements that have been mailed via USPS to participants. We are reissuing these Statements and including language indicating this is a corrected Q1 2022 Statement and they should disregard prior versions received. These corrected Statements will be mailed on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. We will also follow up with a written communication to these participants explaining the situation, along with extending our apologies and outlining corrective actions.

We know you and your participants place your trust in Wespath for your pension and retirement needs and we do not take that responsibility lightly. We are diligently working to correct this as soon as possible and learn from it. We will take the steps necessary to ensure this does not happen again as part of our commitment to improving your customer experience.

Please reach out to Tony Prestipino, director of Plan Sponsor Relations, with any questions.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
