2022 Central Conference Pensions Report

Wespath recently released the 2022 biennial report on the Central Conference Pensions (CCP) program and the pension plans around the world for which CCP provides funds. The report provides transparency into:

CCP provides long-term retirement security for United Methodist clergy in those conferences outside of the United States. This program helps assure sustainable pension support to central conference ministers and their surviving spouses and other beneficiaries. Pension plans exist across Africa, the Philippines and Europe, covering nearly 3,400 retirees and surviving spouses.

Donations to CCP from across our Connection help assure ongoing support for overseas pastors, and their beneficiaries, who have faithfully served the Church yet historically had minimal or no financial support in retirement—unlike their U.S. clergy counterparts. Please visit our website to make donations online: https://www.wespath.org/ccp/donations/, or donations can be sent to:

Participant Communications

Participants were sent custom eblasts this week with the monthly issue of the Wespath Update. This issue included information about Annual Election, earning extra Wellness Credits, October markets and upcoming webinars.

This week we continued the campaign to help participants realize the full benefits of their enrollment in UMPIP, sending custom eblasts encouraging them (where applicable) to boost their contributions, begin contributing again or contribute enough to achieve their plan sponsor match.
