Wespath is committed to helping clergy and lay employees benefit from their retirement plan no matter their age or salary. To that end, this week we sent out postcards to approximately 2,700 participants age 62+ who are not making personal contributions to UMPIP to encourage them to start or increase their personal contributions.
We are also sending an email to follow up with approximately 1,000 clergy who retired this year. This message highlights important factors about their overall well-being in retirement and also includes a reminder to expedite their application for CRSP DB benefits if they haven't applied yet.
