General Conference Information—Updated Resources

Have you visited Wespath's General Conference webpage recently? This page continues to evolve as we add resources that can help you, your conference delegations and others across your annual conference better understand our legislation around benefit plans, sustainable investing and more.

Wespath representatives are available to meet with General Conference delegations virtually or in-person. Contact Tony Prestipino (director-Plan Sponsor Relations): 1-800-269-2244 ext. 4560 or tprestipino@wespath.org if you would like to add Wespath to your delegation meeting schedule.

Delegates and others in your conference can follow Wespath on all social media platforms for timely information: Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Wespath Email to Conference Communicators

Wespath's Communications team will be sending periodic emails to the conference communicators with information on Wespath events, resources for participants, and more. We intend for this content to help communicators engage participants on benefits. We will provide communicators with "canned" text and imagery for their use. The first email will be sent tomorrow with information on the "Live from Wespath" event and General Conference resources. This is information you have already received through OnBoard Express.

Participant Communications

This week, participants received custom versions of the March Wespath Update according to their participation in retirement and health benefit plans. This issue includes links to General Conference resources, news about HealthFlex incentives, information about America Saves Week and the monthly Markets at a Glance video and Market Investment Report.

New Investment Insights Blog: Why Not Just Invest 100% in Stocks?

Many retirement participants have probably wondered why they should consider diversification in their retirement portfolios. Does shifting your allocation to "safer" investments as you near retirement leave valuable funds on the table? Wespath’s Frank Holsteen addressed these questions by explaining why most savers and investors will still benefit from considering risk and tempering their emotions. The blog is now available here.

Wespath Holiday Closing—Good Friday

Wespath will be closed on Friday, March 29, in observance of Good Friday. Customer Service assistance will be unavailable that day.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and complete transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Benefit Access Portal for Plan Sponsors and Wespath Institutional Investor Portal will be available to plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.
