BPP Plan Sponsor Conference Calls—Agenda and
Supporting Materials
As previously communicated, effective January 1, 2009,* the General Board is implementing newly designed long-term disability (LTD) and life insurance plans to replace the Basic Protection Plan (BPP).
To assist current BPP plan sponsors with transitioning to the new plans and answer questions about the plans and their implementation, the General Board is hosting conference calls:
- Tuesday, July 29, 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., Central time; and
- Wednesday, July 30, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., Central time.
Both calls will cover the same information, so please choose the one that suits your schedule. To participate, call 1-866-205-5235 and enter the access code 9325862. The calls will be recorded, and replay IDs will be sent in a separate e-mail following the calls.

Many of these documents are the same as or similar to those previously sent to you. *It is important to note that although January 1, 2009, is the effective start date of the new plans, adoption agreement kits will be sent out in mid-August for plan sponsors to complete and return by September 15.
