Mailing to Participants Intending to Retire

Approximately 270 HealthFlex participants who have notified the General Board of their intent to retire will receive targeted information that outlines how retirement impacts their HealthFlex benefits and wellness programs/incentives. This information was mailed to participants’ home addresses on file and should arrive this week.

Participants will receive one of three versions of Your Health Benefits: Important Details to Know Before You Retire:

• Participants from a plan sponsor that offers health coverage through OneExchange,
• Participants from a plan sponsor that offers pre-65 health coverage through HealthFlex but no post-65 retiree health coverage through the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits, or
• Participants from a plan sponsor that offers no retiree health coverage through the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits.
