Annual Election Web-Conferences

Traditional HealthFlex Plan Sponsors

We will discuss changes for 2020 and AE promotional materials to include the following (for HealthFlex Exchange):
- How Do I Choose my HealthFlex Plan?
- HealthFlex Plan Comparisons
- Cigna Dental Care Patient Charge Schedule
- OptumRx Preventive medications for HealthFlex HSA plans
- Updated slide deck for any AE presentation needs
Customized Plan Comparisons will be sent directly to those plan sponsors with a traditional HealthFlex arrangement.
Call-in details will be sent in a future HealthFlex Express.
Behavioral Health
We have previously shared that we were evaluating carving-in our behavioral and mental health services to the medical vendors. We are excited to announce this change—beginning January 1, 2020, participants will present their medical ID card for all behavioral and mental health services. Plan sponsors with Blue Cross Blue Shield will now use the BCBS national network for behavioral and mental health and be able to access claims and benefits information directly on the BCBS site. Plan sponsors with United Healthcare will continue to use the same network, with the added benefit of being able to access claims and benefit information directly on the MyUHC site. There will be no change to how outpatient counseling visits are handled—we will still pay the same benefit regardless of whether the provider is in or out of network.
We expect this to contribute to some administrative cost savings as well as a more streamlined and understandable experience for participants. We will discuss this further on the September/October conference calls and at the HealthFlex summit.
NutriSavings Program Termination
NutriSavings’ parent company EdenRed is closing the NutriSavings branch of their business. We will be terminating our relationship with NutriSavings effective Thursday, October 31. The last day an eligibility file will be run is Friday, September 26, giving those currently enrolled time to withdraw the funds they have accumulated. Wespath will be communicating directly with participants with balances and let them know how to get the funds.
Fund redemption options for participants with balances:
- set up a ACH or link a PayPal account and have that money deposited into their accounts*
- EdenRed will send them a check after 11/5/19
* Please allow up to 10 days after ACH or PayPal account information is shared for funds to transfer.
Additional details:
- After Friday, September 26 new participants to HealthFlex will not be able to join the program
- After Thursday, October 31 participants will no longer be able to earn up to 30 wellness points for NutriSavings
