Health and Wellness Team Updates

The Health and Wellness Team will be undergoing training on:

You will be unable to reach a specialist during these times, and due to possible backlog, some requests after that time may be delayed. If there is an urgent need during this time, please reach out to your conference/plan sponsor liaison or a member of the Benefit Plans Team (Kelly, Bob, Nikki, Lunyé, Nicole, Leah, Shelly, Todd) and we will assist as soon as possible.

Due to a combination of factors, the January invoices are delayed. We expect them to be available next week. Please reach out to your conference/plan sponsors liaison if you have concern with the timing of your automatic debit given the delay in receiving your January invoice.

Omada Health Type 2 Program Update

Omada Health will be sunsetting the current program offered to members with non-insulin dependent Type 2 diabetes at the end of 2020. No new enrollments in the Type 2 program will occur after January 31. Those currently enrolled in the Type 2 program can continue through the end of 2020—approximately 130 participants. There is no change for the program for those at-risk to develop diabetes or heart disease. HealthFlex is currently researching expanded program offerings for those with diabetes and other chronic conditions offered through various vendors, including Omada.

Further updates will be provided as information is available for this important program area.

1095-B Forms

As in prior years, Wespath will mail 1095-B forms to all individuals enrolled in a HealthFlex plan for at least one month in 2019, as well as terminated or retired individuals who had an HRA account balance through WageWorks for at least one month in 2019. Per the updated IRS guidance, these will be mailed prior to March 2, 2020. Businessolver will mail and they will appear in the "Personal Documents" section on each individual's personal Businessolver page (access through HF/WebMD, click "Plan information/changes").

This form is not required for federal taxes; it may be required for some state taxes.

WageWorks Transition

WageWorks has notified us that BNY Mellon has declined to continue being the custodian for WageWorks Health Savings Accounts. With the recent acquisition of WageWorks by Health Equity, the HSA accounts will be automatically transitioned to Health Equity as the new HSA custodian. This will occur in May. A timeline for transition will be provided in the coming weeks.

Mini HealthFlex Summit—Save the Date

Please mark your calendars for the Mini HealthFlex Summit which will take place on Wednesday, March 18, adjacent to the Conference Forum. More details to come.
