Individuals Need to Accept Virgin Pulse's Updates Privacy Notice

Starting today, the next time all individuals log in to the Virgin Pulse® platform they will be prompted to accept the updated Virgin Pulse Privacy Notice and the Data Processing Consent. Individuals will not be able to proceed until they have accepted it.

According to a statement from Virgin Pulse, "These updates are part of our standard practice of ensuring that we continue to meet updated regulatory requirements, adapt to changes in the industry, and to better align our notices across our products. The updates we are making do not reflect new processes, but rather clarify existing practices."

In a statement to Wespath, Virgin Pulse also clarified that it does not share individuals’ information with Virgin Enterprises. The statement read in full: "Virgin Pulse has been 100% owned by Marlin Equity Partners since 2018. Virgin Enterprises does not own Virgin Pulse, and our only business affiliation is a licensing agreement to use the "Virgin" brand. We do not have any direct affiliation with the leadership at Virgin Enterprises, including Richard Branson. We can assure no member level information is ever shared between Virgin Pulse and Virgin Enterprises."
