Wespath launches new informational Annual Election (AE) website for participants
Our new informational AE website is ready for participants!
In the month leading up to AE—which runs from November 2-17—we will be encouraging participants to visit the site to understand their coverage options and feel confident in the health plans they select during AE. The site has an easy-to-follow breakdown of HealthFlex and health accounts.
The new AE site is designed to be used in tandem with the ALEX® Benefits Counselor automated tool, which can be found after logging into BenefitsAccess.org in the banner across the top. ALEX provides personalized recommendations for plans and health account contributions.
Our hope is that participants with a wide range of knowledge about health care will find the information and resources they need on the site. One page explains the difference between co-pay and co-insurance. Another page links to a 11-page breakdown of Health Savings Account (HSA) Plans.
The site also includes links to the "How Do I Choose?" and Plan Comparison guides in English, Spanish and Korean. They also are linked at the bottom of this post for your reference.
The AE site was introduced to participants on October 5 in the Wespath Update e-mail, and it will be highlighted in several upcoming communications. But as always, we could use your help. Here is a toolkit piece that you can share with your participants to raise awareness of the new AE site, ALEX and AE. Toolkit pieces are intended as turnkey resources for plan sponsors to communicate about important HealthFlex topics.
The site will be updated in the coming weeks to include things like registration information for our AE webinars.
