Help Share the Benefits of Health Check, Blueprint for Wellness®

Your participants in HealthFlex will maximize their benefits by participating in the annual Health Check online health assessment and Blueprint for Wellness blood draw. By promoting these two programs, you can help participants:

The deadline to complete both the Health Check and Blueprint for Wellness is August 31. If you have any questions about these programs, please contact the Wespath Well-Being Team at wellnessteam@wespath.org.

Promotional Tools for You

The following materials are available to help you promote Health Check and Blueprint for Wellness to your participants. Please note that individuals must be enrolled in Virgin Pulse to complete the Health Check and register for the Blueprint for Wellness.

Blueprint for Wellness Events and Self-Collection Kits

If you are considering having an on-site Blueprint for Wellness event, we will share editable PDFs to help you promote your event in an upcoming HealthFlex Express. A survey to collect dates, times, locations and contact information for your on-site events will be sent out toward the end of January. If you have any questions about hosting an on-site event, please contact Todd Creviston at tcreviston@wespath.org.

The at-home Activate Self-Collection Kit (previously called just the Self-Collection Kit) will continue to be available for individuals who choose to complete the test at home (excludes individuals in New York state).

* Incentive rewards are provided in "Pulse Cash," the "rewards currency" for HealthFlex. Pulse Cash is delivered straight to your Virgin Pulse account and can be transferred to your checking account or redeemed for gift cards, merchandise or charitable donations. You must be enrolled in Virgin Pulse to earn and redeem Pulse Cash. The IRS considers cash wellness incentives as taxable income. Contact your tax adviser for more information.

How "Well" Are UMC Clergy?

The first week of February 2023, 5,000 randomly selected clergy will receive an e-mail request to complete an online Clergy Well-Being Survey from Versta Research (on behalf of Wespath). This biennial survey is very important to the denomination because it provides information on how clergy are faring across the dimensions of well-being (physical, emotional, social, spiritual and financial).

Survey responses are used to develop programs and services to address needs around clergy wellness. For example, following the 2021 survey results, Wespath offered the First Aid for Mental Health program and other resources to address current well-being needs. The survey is voluntary and completely confidential.
