Now Available—2023 HealthFlex Well-Being FAQ

Want to help participants get the most out of HealthFlex well-being programs? Check out the updated 2023 HealthFlex FAQ. This document covers everything from incentives and Virgin Pulse programs to Quest Blueprint for Wellness, the EAP and Diabetes Management and Chronic Disease Prevention. The FAQ also includes information about using Talkspace and MDLIVE Behavioral Health for virtual therapy.

2024 HealthFlex Plan Rates and Events

The 2024 HealthFlex plan rates will be available at the end of February, part of our commitment to making rates available for spring Boards of Pensions meetings for our annual conference plan sponsors. We are planning some design changes to the HSA plans to comply with IRS updates that we want you to be aware of as you review your 2024 rates.

To help explain these changes, we’ll be hosting two conference calls to coincide with the delivery of the 2024 rate sheets. Both calls will cover the same content. Please mark your calendar to join us for one of the dates below.

Save the Date: HealthFlex Mini-Summit Event on April 14

Wespath will host an in-person HealthFlex Mini-Summit during the morning of April 14, immediately following the Conference Forum on April 12 and 13. Stay tuned for more information as well as a link to register.

IRS Form 1095-B, Health Coverage Available by March 2

Wespath will send Form 1095-B, Health Coverage to participants by March 2, 2023. Participants will either receive the form in the mail or be sent electronic retrieval instructions via e-mail, depending on their preference selected during Annual Election. The form will also be available in Benefits Solver after March 2, 2023.

Form 1095-B is used to report certain information to the IRS and to taxpayers about individuals who are covered by minimum essential coverage. The form reports the months participants and their dependents were covered by HealthFlex in 2022.

Clergy Well-Being Survey Launched

The week of January 30, 5,000 clergy were invited to participate in the biennial Clergy Well-Being Survey, a voluntary and confidential survey from Versta Research (on behalf of Wespath) that helps us learn how clergy are faring across the dimensions of well-being. Clergy who were invited to participate have until March 5, 2023 to complete the voluntary survey. Please contact WellnessTeam@Wespath.org with any questions regarding the survey.

Participant Communications: Diabetes Management and Chronic Disease Prevention (Omada) Postcard Sent

Last week, participants received a postcard from Omada, which provides HealthFlex participants with diabetes prevention programming, diabetes management programming, and chronic disease prevention programming. The postcard gives recipients an overview of how they can use Omada programs to improve their health at no additional cost as one of their well-being benefits through HealthFlex.
