Corrected W-2s for CPP Disabled Participants

Wespath sent IRS Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statements at the end of January to approximately 850 participants who receive Comprehensive Protection Plan (CPP) disability benefits. We masked a portion of the participants’ Social Security Numbers (SSNs) in concert with our ongoing efforts to protect privacy and increase security.

We have since determined that the IRS does not allow SSNs to be truncated and are reissuing the W-2s along with a letter explaining the error. The reissued W-2 statements will be mailed as soon as possible.

Holiday Closing—Presidents’ Day

Wespath will be closed on Monday, February 20, in observance of Presidents’ Day. Customer service assistance will be unavailable that day.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and make transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The automated phone system, accessible by calling 1-800-851-2201, is also available for participants.

The Wespath Institutional Investor Portal and Benefits Access will be available for plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.
