CARES Act Update—SBA Revises PPP Loan Rules

Today, the Small Business Administration published revisions to its initial interim final rule governing the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The SBA revised its rule to reflect changes made to the PPP by the recently enacted Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act (PPPFA, which was highlighted in the June 4, 2020 On Board Express). As we review the new SBA guidance, we will update our PPP loans guidance for UMC employers to reflect the changes.
