Who Can You Nominate for the Charles L. Calkins Award?

The Board Life and Governance Committee of Wespath's Board of Directors welcomes nominations for the Charles L. Calkins Award. Individuals for this award are nominated for extraordinary contributions, visionary leadership and dedication to the values of Wespath. Eligible nominees include conference benefits officers, benefits administrators, treasurers and members of conference boards. Click here to learn more about the award and previous recipients. This year's award will be presented at the October Board of Directors meeting. Nominations are due by July 15, 2022. To nominate an individual, complete this form and attach it to an email to rsmith-edmondson@wespath.org.

Communications to Participants

All clergy who've announced their intention to retire in 2022 and have not applied for retirement benefits received an email this week reminding them to apply. The email also listed resources to help with their retirement income decisions. Click here to see the email.

Investment Insights Blog: Inflation and the 60/40 Portfolio

More than 40 years have passed since the last time inflation was at its current level. Monetary and fiscal relief during the pandemic, supply chain disruptions coupled with surging demand, and the invasion of Ukraine are a few reasons for this environment.
