HealthFlex Invoice Information and Considerations
Please note the following regarding the new HealthFlex invoice format through Businessolver, our new vendor partner. A sample invoice is provided here. September HealthFlex invoices can be retrieved from Businessolver beginning tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, September 24.
- Medical counts and rates include behavioral health and pharmacy costs (similar to Ceridian bills).
- Billed amounts for flexible spending accounts have been transitioned from weekly to monthly calculations. This number may have changed month to month with Ceridian, but it should be constant each month with Businessolver. It also means that the dollar amount may vary slightly from the final Ceridian bill. There is no need to change the amount withheld from pastors’/employees’ paychecks—the net result is the same between the two methods.
- To protect participants’ privacy, spreadsheets with pension deductions will now show masked Social Security numbers (SSNs) with only the last four digits, rather than each participant’s full SSN. The detail reports also have masked SSNs, along with participant numbers.
- For the detail report, a split couple (Medicare/active) will now be reported with the spouse listed under the primary participant’s name. (Ceridian format listed the spouse as “primary.”)
- Adjustments made in late July and August that were not captured on the final bill were not captured in this September bill. These minor adjustments will be captured within the next month.
- The amount due is listed at the bottom under “current total due” and in the middle under “please pay this amount.” Note the “current premiums” at the top does not include any adjustments or pension deductions.
- In future months, we expect bills will be visible in Businessolver by the 10th business day of the month.
