Quest Letters Re: 2020 At-Home Screening Results

People who completed the Blueprint for Wellness® in 2020 by using an at-home self-collection kit may not have had their LDL cholesterol and glucose accurately measured as previously stated during the HealthFlex Mini-Summit.

Quest Diagnostics®, which conducted the tests, plans to mail a letter to affected individuals this week to make them aware of the problem with the results for these two important health indicators. Quest has created two versions of the letter:

People who are eligible for a screening in 2021 will be invited to sign-up for a free re-screening of their LDL cholesterol and glucose levels at a Quest facility.

Individuals eligible for Blueprint for Wellness in 2021 will not be offered free re-screenings to avoid confusion with this year’s Blueprint for Wellness screening program. Instead, Wespath will send a follow-up letter to these individuals and encourage them to consider completing their Blueprint for Wellness screening at a Quest facility. The at-home self-collection kit remains an option for participants in 2021 and all other tests are believed to be accurate. LDL cholesterol and glucose will again be measured as part of this year’s Blueprint for Wellness.

Virgin Pulse® Maintenance Scheduled for the Weekend

Individuals will not be able to access Virgin Pulse starting at 11:00 p.m., Central time, April 16 because Virgin Pulse will be performing maintenance on its website and app. Virgin Pulse is expected to be unavailable to individuals for one hour.

Starting four hours prior to the scheduled maintenance, a message should appear on the website and app that announces: "We will be undergoing maintenance at 12:00 AM ET, but we will be back soon."

Individuals who try to access the Virgin Pulse app while it undergoes maintenance should see the following notification: "The Virgin Pulse site is temporarily undergoing maintenance. Please check back soon."

According to a statement from Virgin Pulse, "Member data, rewards and progress will not be impacted during this time."
