Final AE Reports Will be Available Soon

We plan to provide plan sponsors with the final AE report early next week, as we continue to process paper forms this week. The final AE report will contain the 2022 elections that will be sent to the carriers.

Scam Alert

Wespath has been notified of a possible scam automated call to participants about medication refills. We are looking into the source of these calls, but wanted you to be aware in case you hear from participants. While OptumRx does make some automated calls about refill reminders, they are not from "Wespath Benefits and Investments." If there is concern for an unexpected or out of the ordinary call, members can call OptumRx directly at the number on their ID card: 855-239-8471 or go online via BenefitsAccess.org to get accurate information about refills.

Spreading the Word About Wellness Credits

Wespath will send an e-mail about Wellness Credits on December 7 to primary participants and covered spouses who are enrolled in Virgin Pulse® and have not yet earned 150 Wellness Credits—and the accompanying $150 Pulse Cash incentive.

If you would like to remind your members that they have until December 31 to earn 150 Wellness Credits, feel free to use some—or all—of the December 7 e-mail for your own communications. Here is a link to that e-mail as a Word document. We hope that makes it easy for you to copy and paste. As always, we welcome your assistance with communicating to your members.

Participant Communications: Program That Helps Track Calories Needs to Sync With Virgin Pulse

As part of an upgrade to the Virgin Pulse platform, the link between Virgin Pulse and MyFitnessPal was disconnected. Virgin Pulse will send an e-mail December 7 to individuals who use MyFitnessPal that alerts them of the need to reconnect their MyFitnessPal account to Virgin Pulse.

MyFitnessPal is a piece of the nutrition guide offered by Virgin Pulse. Individuals can set goals, track calories, receive meal plans and earn rewards with MyFitnessPal.

In addition, all Virgin Pulse users will see a banner display about the need to sync MyFitnessPal with Virgin Pulse when they open their account December 7.

Individuals can contact the Health Team or Virgin Pulse Support at 1-800-830-4312 if they need further assistance.
