Over 40% of Primary Participants, Covered Spouses Have Not Completed Health Check

Only 58% of primary participants and covered spouses have completed the Health Check, which means many of your employees could have a higher deductible in 2023.

While the completion percentage, which was as of August 23, is much lower than we would like, it’s not too late to rectify the issue. Individuals have until 11:59 p.m. local time on Wednesday, August 31, to complete the Health Check and avoid a higher deductible. Both the primary participant and spouse (if covered) must complete the Health Check for their household to avoid the higher deductible next year.

Anything you can do to urge your HealthFlex participants to complete the Health Check before the deadline would be greatly appreciated.

We encourage you to send at least one final e-mail reminder to your participants and post a reminder to any Facebook or social media groups for your members. Here is text you can copy and paste into the body of an e-mail or into a social media post.
