"Have You Called Your Care Coordinator?" Launches Successfully

As of January 2, the new Care Coordination service, in partnership with Quantum Health, is up and running with positive feedback overall! So far, Care Coordinators have received about 800 calls from participants and providers and had over 500 visits to the website.

Quantum continues to work closely with Wespath, our Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) third-party administrator (TPA), and OptumRx to resolve outstanding issues. There are a few groups that are receiving some special attention during the transition:

Please also note that new ID cards may cause some bumps at the pharmacy, particularly if local pharmacists enter information incorrectly or do not update records with the new card information. These issues should be easily resolved and Care Coordinators have been helping with these issues.

We encourage you to ask participants, "Have you contacted your Care Coordinator?" when they raise a question or concern. This will help them get comfortable with the knowledge and guidance that their Care Coordinator can provide. If you are in HealthFlex, we also encourage you to use the service if needed to become an experienced advocate of Care Coordination for participants in your conference.

Blueprint for Wellness On-Site Events and Trainings

Last week you should have received an email about planning on-site Blueprint for Wellness events for the coming year. Please complete the survey by Friday, March 8. If you are not offering screenings this year, please respond "no" in the survey.

NEW: There is a new 30-participant onsite minimum each day. In effort to meet that minimum, we sent a recommended scheduled based on 2023 participation. If you have concerns with this recommendation, please reach out to Jodi Benacka at jbenacka@wespath.org, otherwise we ask that you schedule based on these dates.

We have scheduled optional training sessions to prepare for your onsite BFW screenings. Please select one training session to attend.

Participant Communications: Three January Communications

This month, all HealthFlex participants will receive (or have already received) three communication pieces to help them get the most out of their benefits for the coming year.
