Last Chance to Boost Health Check Completion

As you will read in the next item, Wespath's campaign to urge participants and covered spouses to complete the Health Check and Blueprint for Wellness® will end with a flurry. As always, we are more successful when we partner with you.

If you have a moment, please share our most recent Facebook post reminding participants to take the Health Check.

If you have bit more time, we invite you to e-mail a final reminder to your participants. Here is the reminder that Wespath sent to its employees earlier this week. You are welcome to copy and paste the message into your e-mail marketing program. You will receive a final list of non-completers (as of August 19), this week.

Participant Communications: Look for Health Check Reminder E-mails

With the deadline for completing the Health Check and Blueprint for Wellness less than a week away, Wespath and Virgin Pulse® are partnering to send out a series of reminders about the importance of taking the assessments before August 31, at 11:59 p.m., local time.

Wespath E-mails

On August 26, Wespath will be send e-mails to primary participants who have not taken the Health Check. There will be two versions of the e-mail: Primary participants who are already enrolled in Virgin Pulse will receive one message and those who need to enroll in Virgin Pulse before they can complete the Health Check will receive a different message.

If a primary participant does not click one of the links in the August 26 e-mail, a follow-up reminder will automatically be sent August 30. This applies to both versions of the August 26 e-mail.

Virgin Pulse E-mails

Virgin Pulse will send the final reminder e-mails for both the Blueprint for Wellness and Health Check to individuals who have not yet taken the assessments. The Blueprint for Wellness reminder was sent August 24. The Health Check reminder will be sent August 31.

The Virgin Pulse mailing list will include primary participants and covered spouses who have registered for Virgin Pulse as well as primary participants and some covered spouses who have not registered for Virgin Pulse. We do not have an e-mail address for every covered spouse who is not registered for Virgin Pulse.

Participant Communications: Letter to HealthFlex Participants on Disability

Earlier this month, Wespath mailed a letter to HealthFlex primary participants who are currently receiving disability benefits. The third sentence of the letter summarized the letter well: "We want to be certain that you are aware of the 2021 HealthFlex wellness incentives and know how to request an exception ("accommodation") if you are unable to complete the Health Check online health assessment."

Participants who still need to request an exception are urged to e-mail incentiverequest@wespath.org or call Wespath's Health Team at 1-800-851-2201 as soon as possible. Wespath needs time to review requests prior to the August 31 deadline.

Save the Dates: Annual Election is November 3-18

Annual election will take place from November 3-18 and provide HealthFlex participants the opportunity to select 2022 HealthFlex benefits, change who they cover and elect health account contributions.

New this year, participants will need to log into BenefitsAccess.org to make their choices beginning November 3.

Much more information will be shared about Annual Election in the coming weeks and months.
