HealthFlex Annual Election Begins Today: October 30
A variety of resources to support 2025 Annual Election (Oct. 30-Nov. 14) are available for you to share with your participants, including:
- The Benefits Access Annual Election page, with customized content for HealthFlex participants (participant login required)
- Annual Election Toolkit - This piece is designed for you to communicate about AE to your participants. Wespath will not send this piece.
- ALEX Benefits Counselor videos and resources (individual plan sponsor URLs will link from the Benefits Access Annual Election page and have been sent to individual plan sponsor representatives)
- Text you can copy and paste into the body of an e-mail
- Talking points that can be used in your own messaging or to answer participant questions
- You can also send your direct ALEX URL to those who cannot use Benefits Access (e.g., spouses)
- The OptumRx pricing tool can be used to help estimate costs of drugs under different plans. This tool is particularly helpful for those considering HSA plans, where the discounted drug cost must be paid by the member until the deductible is met.

As a reminder, no-cost MDLIVE telehealth and behavioral health will expire on December 31, 2024. This may impact participants' out-of-pocket costs under various HealthFlex plans in 2025. We have educated Wespath Care Coordinators on this change so that they can help participants looking for cost guidance on next year's plan options. We will also be partnering with MDLIVE to send a direct communication to those who have used the service in 2024.
Participants can still use MDLIVE at no cost through December 31, 2024.
HealthFlex Summit Presentations
Wespath will be offering several webinars this fall for HealthFlex participants to learn more about their options during Annual Election. Please share these events with your participants. Webinars will be recorded and links provided for those who are unable to attend live.
